Capping machine
The machine is particularly suitable for vacuum closing of glass containers such as jars, bottles, etc. with R.T.O., P.O., D.T.O. and screw caps. Vacuum is generated by steam condensation in the head space. The sequence of operations for feeding, extraction, application or screwing-on of the caps, is automatic. Size changeover and associated adjustments are very simple and quick. The capping machine is constructed with stainless materials and includes the following assemblies: • Stainless steel table-top feeding conveyor, with adjustable sides both at infeed and outfeed. • Closing head with belt and sliding block, with damped plate and externally adjustable pressure. • Cap infeed with disc or vertical belt magnetic orientator, loading from bottom. • All the machine speeds are adjustable. • Switchboard in watertight box (IP 65 protection), 24V controls. The machine is fitted with the safety guards required by the applicable machine directive.
